The civilization of ATLANTIS was seeded on Earth by 12 Soul Families of Sirian origin some 12,000 years ago. This park is located about 2 hours drive north of Miami. It teems with wildlife in 13 natural communities, including sand pine scrub, pine flatwoods, mangroves, and river swamps. The Loxahatchee River, Florida's first federally designated Wild and Scenic River, runs through the park.
